Kiwiana Wedding Invitations

Below is a Save The Date card for a couple who are currently living in the UK but are marrying in New Zealand. To give guests from countries outside New Zealand countries enough warning to arrange flights and accommodation if required this was sent out well in advance of the wedding. Save The Date cards are a great idea in situations like this, especially if the times and venues haven't been confirmed.

The design for this invitation was to reflect a Kiwiana theme showing New Zealand as the location of the wedding as well as the background of the couple. The use of the koru shape, fern motif and Fantail birds emphasises this theme.

Similar Wedding Invites

This has become quite a popular design. The brown invitation on the left was to reflect a beach wedding under a Pohutukawa tree, and they felt that the invitation worked in well with their ceremony location. The groom worked in conservation with tuataras so we added a tuatara as well as a few extra birds to add to the outdoorsy-nature aspect of the wedding invitations.
