Heat Embossing

Option 1 is to have an embossing plate created with the text and imagery for your invitation. Plates give a better finished product for text and for large areas of the heat embossing finish, eg. where the whole invitation is embossed. A wide range of colours are available and you can have a plate made up with any design and fonts that you wish.

Option 2 is a more economical option, where you can have part of the invitation heat embossed with the rest of the invitation printed using a standard print technique. An example is shown on the invitation below, where the invitation text is printed on white card using a standard print finish, and the floral banner is embossed in black down the side of the invitation. Below are the same design shown in copper on white, gold on black (black is printed) and silver on grey (grey is printed).

A range of images are available to be embossed and the images below show the images we currently stock. There are many more available, so if you have something specific in mind please let us know. If we can't source an existing image to suit we can have a new embossing plate made up for you - for these types of smaller sizes they are not expensive to have made, so please contact us with your requirements and we can advise pricing and options.

Custom Images

Or have a custom embossing plate made up for your invitations, pricing ranges from around $35 - 65 depending on the size required (pricing is approximate). This is a one off fee to have the plate made up for you, and the cost of embossing each invitation will be on top of this. Please contact us for a quote and for more information.

We will of course try and line them up the same as best we can, but please be aware that these are created by hand and the positioning of the embossing plate will not be exactly the same on each invitation.
