Custom wedding invitations?
The great thing about custom wedding invitations is that we can work together to create the perfect invitation for you! You can have as much or as little input as you want to have - I have 1000s of fonts and images to choose from, so the options are endless. We can discuss the options via email or you can make an appointment at my office in Auckland, New Zealand.

Can you organise envelopes to match our wedding invites?
We have a huge range of sizes, shapes and colours available to match the invitations, thank you cards etc. Most of the envelopes we use are manufactured from New Zealand papers and products.

How about maps, rsvp cards, thank you cards etc?
That's the great bit about custom invites - we can put together a package to suit! Maps are great if guests are coming from out of town, or you could offer an information card providing details about the gift registry, transport details, or accommodation options in the area.

Do minimum numbers apply?
Whether you need 10 invites or 100s we can assist at an affordable price. Obviously quantity makes invitations a bit cheaper per piece, but please feel free to talk to us about your budget as we are happy to discuss the options with you. One way to keep the cost down if you require a small number of invites is to choose an existing design - we can still change the colours to suit your wedding and I can give you a few font options.

How much involvement do I have?
A lot of care needs to go into the design of wedding invitations to ensure that the invite reflects the bride and groom and the style of your wedding. You will need to send the wording for your invitations through and we will work with you to put something suitable together. You can leave it completely up to us, or we can work closely together to create you wedding invitations.

How long will it take?
Once you've given us the wording and any ideas you have, we can make a start on your design. We will email a few options within 3-4 days. You are then welcome to comment, critique and make changes to the wording as required. Once we have created a final wedding invitation design, we send out a proof for you to view (via overnight courier if you're in New Zealand) and printing normally takes 3-4 days to complete.

Do I see a copy of the final invite before they are printed?
Absolutely. Once you have decided on a final wedding invitation design we will courier out a proof of your invite. This will take 1-2 days to print and to get out to you via an overnight courier service which is available New Zealand wide. If you're overseas we an post it out (takes up to 1 week to arrive). We can provide the invitation on different paper stocks, giving you the opportunity to view paper stock quality since you can't get a good idea of quality via a website.

Do you have embellishments to add something extra to my wedding invitations?
From rhinestones brought into the design of the invitations, ribbons in a huge range of sizes and colours, handmade papers and translucent sheets to compliment the wedding invitation design, and heart or star shaped pins. We can supply all these extras to suit your invites.

Do you offer special print finishes?
Yes, we can do standard printing which has a very crisp, fine print finish or we can do something more elaborate, like letterpress printing (where the text and imagery is indented into the paper), heat embossing (creating a glossy, raised print finish) or foiling (a metallic finish in a range of colours which can be embossed).

Do you take orders from overseas?
Yes we can definitely take orders from anywhere in the world. In this case you will need to allow a little more time than usual as we need to allow up to 7 days for the post to get a proof to you once your wedding invitation design has been finalised. To ship the final set of wedding invitations to you we use an international economy courier which varies in price depending on your location and the size of the parcel (usually around $30-60 to give you an idea).

Are extras for the wedding reception table available?
We offer a range of favour boxes in various colours and sizes. There are small square boxes with a square lid or boxes with flared tops for something a little bit different. They are made from sturdy cardboard right here in New Zealand. Also great for cupcake towers.
